Hampi Sugars is planning to set up a grain-based distillery unit with a capacity of 400 klpd at Jambunathanahalli village of Hospet taluka, Vijayanagara, in Bengaluru district of Karnataka.

As of now, Hampi Sugars is awaiting environmental clearance (EC) for the project.

According to the information available with Projects Today, the work on the project is expected to commence in Q3/FY24, with the completion scheduled for August 2024.

The contractor and machinery supplier are yet to be finalised.
