Happy Forgings, a leading auto and engineering parts manufacturer, will invest over Rs 1,000 crore in Ludhiana, Punjab, in a phased expansion plan.
Announced by Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora, the investment is expected to generate over 2,000 direct employment, including more than 300 engineering positions, and stimulate the growth of ancillary units, boosting the local economy and steel consumption. The company, which specialises in high-precision forging and machining components for commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, and farm equipment, serves top OEMs in India and abroad.
With a market capitalization of Rs 10,000 crore and revenue of Rs 1,409 crore in FY25, Happy Forgings is a significant player in the manufacturing sector. Managing Director Ashish Garg confirmed the company’s commitment to Punjab, and praised the state's upcoming industrial policy, developed through sectoral committees.
