Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has extended an invitation to Tesla to establish a manufacturing unit in the state, offering full government support.

Tesla India Motors and Energy, led by Isabel Fan, met Saini to discuss the company’s expansion plans. Haryana is known for its robust automobile ecosystem, housing major players like Maruti Suzuki. Tesla, led by CEO Elon Musk, is making significant strides in India, with Experience Centres already set up in Mumbai, Delhi, and now Gurugram.

The Gurugram centre spans 51,000 sq. ft. at Orchid Business Park, leased for nine years. Tesla’s push into India aligns with the nation’s focus on clean mobility and domestic EV manufacturing. The company is currently working on building a retail and service network as a precursor to future manufacturing operations in the country.
