Hindustan Green Energy is planning to set up grain based ethanol plant with capacity of 400 KLPD at Gudrughat village, Khairlanji tehsil in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh.
The project will spread over 34.65 acre of land parcel and will be implemented in two phases.
The project also comprises installation of 14 MW co-generation power plant.
Hindustan Green Energy has received environment clearance for the project.
As per the update shared with Projects Today, work on the project is expected to commence by March 2023. The contractor and machinery supplier has been finalised.
The company is expecting to complete the project by April 2024.
