Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has inaugurated its 73rd Skilling Centre at Kumaon University in Nainital, in collaboration with Tata STRIVE, Setu Aayog, and the Government of Uttarakhand.
The centre was officially inaugurated by Shri Rajshekhar Joshi, Vice Chairman of Setu Aayog. This initiative forms part of IHCL’s ESG+ framework, Paathya, aimed at skilling 1,00,000 youth by 2030. The multi-partner collaboration ensures funding, infrastructure, and program support from the Government of Uttarakhand and Kumaon University, with Tata STRIVE as the implementation partner, Setu Aayog coordinating the program, and IHCL providing knowledge expertise. The centre emphasises local employment opportunities, reinforcing IHCL’s commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable talent development across 21 states in India.
