Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a greenfield project to introduce its Gateway brand in Delhi with the 158-key Gateway Dwarka, New Delhi.
Located within The Omaxe State, India’s first integrated sports-cum-commercial hub in Sector 19B, Dwarka, the property is spread across 50 acres and will benefit from excellent connectivity. The ecosystem includes 4.2 km of hybrid retail spaces, over 40 dining outlets, expansive F&B zones of five lakh sq. ft., lifestyle spaces, entertainment hubs, and international-standard sports infrastructure such as a 30,000-seater ICC and FIFA-standard stadium and a 2,000-capacity indoor sports arena.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Gateway Dwarka, New Delhi will strengthen our presence in this high-growth micro market.” Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe added, “This is a visionary project on the lines of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.” The hotel will offer restaurants, a spa, wellness facilities, 25,800 sq. ft. of banqueting space, and a Member’s Club. The Omaxe State, developed with Delhi Development Authority, is set for completion by 2027.
