Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a 125-key greenfield Ginger hotel in Satara, Maharashtra, marking a strategic expansion of its brandscape.
“Satara's convergence of education, healthcare and business attracts a steady stream of demand, making it an ideal fit for Ginger's expansion,” the company noted. “This signing is in line with IHCL's approach to expanding its brandscape into such high-potential markets. We are delighted to partner with Vedantika Raje Bhonsle for this project,” said Suma Venkatesh, IHCL Executive Vice President - Real Estate and Development.
With this addition, IHCL’s presence in Maharashtra will grow to 43 hotels, including 16 under development, further strengthening its footprint in the state. The Satara hotel aligns with IHCL’s strategy to tap into emerging cities with strong business, education, and healthcare demand, enhancing Ginger’s reach across high-potential regions.
