IndoSpace is set to invest more than Rs 500 crore in a 66-acre logistics park in Bhiwandi near Mumbai, expanding its warehousing footprint with over 1.7 million sq. ft. of space.
This move reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to Maharashtra, where it has already invested nearly Rs 3,000 cr. The new park, strategically located near the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway, will cater to sectors like e-commerce, FMCG, automotive, and third-party logistics. It will feature both ready-to-move and build-to-suit facilities aligned with ESG standards, supporting green infrastructure.
IndoSpace’s total development across India now exceeds 60 million sq. ft., supporting over 150 companies and aligning with national initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti and Make in India. The investment comes amid a 42 percent year-on-year rise in logistics leasing across India, with Mumbai alone accounting for 7.5 million sq. ft. in H1 2025. Bhiwandi remains a critical warehousing hub due to its proximity to Mumbai, Thane, and Pune.
