A multipurpose industrial park is set to be developed in the Kodangal Assembly constituency, represented by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) has completed the necessary plans and documentation for the project, which is now awaiting statutory clearances. According to the pre-feasibility report, the industrial park will span 849.6 acres across Hakeempet, Polepally, and Lagcherla villages in Dudyal mandal, Vikarabad district. The project is expected to be completed within one to two years once the clearances are obtained.
TGIIC will invest Rs 210 crore to develop essential infrastructure, including roads, water and power supply systems, and wastewater treatment facilities. The park will host a diverse range of industries, including AAC brick manufacturing, automobile production, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, and steel re-rolling mills. It will also accommodate units for lead-acid batteries, textiles, dairy products, and other allied industries. "The park will boost industrial growth and employment in the region," said a TGIIC spokesperson.
