XSIO Logistics Parks has announced plans to build India's first smart logistics park in Nagpur, with a Rs 2,000 crore investment.

The company has already invested over Rs 400 crore in its existing logistics park at Wadhgaon, located near the Samruddhi Expressway. The new facility will feature an artificial intelligence-enabled system that monitors carbon footprints, improves sewage treatment, and incorporates eco-friendly measures. XSIO is in talks with major IT players to develop the system, aiming for predictive analytics, scenario modeling, and AI-based traffic flow and vehicle movement automation. The conversion of the Wadhgaon facility into a smart park will require an investment of Rs five crore per unit.

XSIO’s expansion plans also include the second phase in Wadhgaon, along with a new logistics park on Amravati Road, an industrial park in Butibori, and an urban logistics park in Wardhaman Nagar.
