JSW Energy successfully commissioned 114 MW of renewable energy capacity in September 2025, including 21 MW of solar and 93 MW of wind, raising its total installed capacity to 13,211 MW.
During Q2 FY26, the company added 443 MW of organic renewable capacity, featuring 20 MW of floating solar at Vijayanagar. Renewables now make up 57 percent of JSW’s total capacity, with wind at 3,709 MW, solar at 2,213 MW, and hydro at 1,631 MW. JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity stands at 30.5 GW, with 13.2 GW operational, 12.5 GW under construction, and 150 MW under acquisition in hydro projects.
The company also has 29.4 GWh of energy storage capacity, combining hydro pumped storage and battery systems. JSW aims to reach 30 GW generation and 40 GWh storage capacity by FY30, targeting carbon neutrality by 2050.
