1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

JSW Future Energy inks PPA with SECI for 270 MW blended wind capacity

JSW Future Energy (JSWFEL) has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the balance contracted capacity of 270 MW out of the total awarded capacity of 810 MW. 
 
On 25 September 2020, the company had informed that JSWFEL, a 100 percent subsidiary of the company, had received letter of awards (LoA) for total blended wind capacity of 810 MW from SECI in respect of the tariff-based competitive bid invited by SECI for setting up 2,500 MW ISTS-connected blended wind power projects (Tranche - IX). 
 
Further on 3 May 2021, JSW Renew Energy (JSWREL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSWFEL, had signed a PPA with SECI for contracted capacity of 540 MW out of the total awarded capacity of 810 MW. 
 
JSWREL has now signed PPA with SECI for balance contracted capacity of 270 MW. With the signing of this PPA, the entire 810 MW awarded capacity is tied up with SECI. 
 
JSW Energy has a power generation capacity of 4,559 MW, where about 30 percent of the capacity is from renewable sources.  
 
The company through its wholly-owned subsidiaries i.e. JSW Future Energy and JSW Hydro Energy is presently constructing various renewable power projects to the tune of 2.5 GW, with a vision to achieve a total power generation capacity of 20 GW by the year 2030, when the share of renewables in the total capacity will increase to around 85 percent.
