Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has issued a tender worth Rs 747.75 crore for the construction of a sewerage system in the leftover areas of Zone-01 under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative.
The contract, scheduled for 48 months including the rainy season, encompasses comprehensive sewerage development, beginning with survey, soil investigation, and design, followed by construction, commissioning, testing, and all allied works. Key activities include providing, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of sewer pipelines integrated with existing trunk sewers, along with construction of manholes and sewer appurtenances spanning a total of 682.275 km.
The work also covers the provision of house sewer chambers and laterals to connect 165,999 consumer lines, sewer connections for new and existing houses, public toilets, and institutions within Zone-01. Additionally, construction, supply, erection, and commissioning of sewage pumping stations (SPS), pumping mains, sewage treatment plants.
