John Cockerill India has secured a contract valued at around Rs 270 crore from JSW JFE Electrical Steel Nashik.
The order comprises engineering, design, manufacture, and supply of equipment for tunnel furnaces at its Nashik facility. The scope of work includes delivering all critical components required for tunnel furnaces, notably the coil handling arrangement, along with supervising the erection and commissioning of the production line. The company will oversee the installation to ensure the achievement of the contractual performance guarantee.
The work also covers engineering and design tasks to meet specific operational requirements of JSW JFE Electrical Steel. The execution timeline for the contract is set until May 2027, providing a multi-year engagement that includes both equipment delivery and technical supervision. This collaboration aims to enhance JSW JFE Electrical Steel’s production efficiency and operational performance.
