Juniper Green Cosmic, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with NHPC for the development of a 250 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project.
The agreement was signed on 28 June, 2025, with power supply scheduled to begin in June 2027. Under this PPA, Juniper Green will develop a renewable energy project integrating solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) technologies.
The electricity generated will be supplied to the Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC) on behalf of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN). "This PPA demonstrates the company's capability to undertake and deliver complex renewable projects that allow us to align with the country's goal for sustainable and reliable power," said Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy.
The company currently operates approx. 1.45 GWp of renewable energy capacity across India.
