Jupiter Life Line Hospitals plans to double its bed capacity within three to five years, in a move expected to more than double its revenues during the same period.
“Over the next three to five years, as the new hospitals become operational and capacity doubles, revenues will also double. We have about 1,000 beds under construction already, 500 in MMR in Palava region, 500 more in Pune, and we are looking at some more western India opportunity,” CEO Ankit Thakker stated.
The hospital group recently expanded its facility in Indore by adding 17 beds, increasing its total operational capacity to 1,061 beds as of 01 January, 2025. Its expansion strategy hinges on achieving around 60 percent occupancy at existing facilities before scaling up, ensuring steady growth.
Jupiter Life Line prioritises organic growth over acquisitions, favouring custom-built hospitals over operations and maintenance (O&M) models.
