KIMS Hospitals, through its subsidiary, KIMS Hospital Bengaluru has entered into a management agreement with the Peoples Education Society (PES) for setting up a super-specialty hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
PES is undertaking the construction and development of the building to house an approx. 350-bed hospital, comprising of ground floor and 11 upper floors, totally measuring 3,50,000 sq. ft. of built-up area, along with utility area and bunker for radiation oncology. KIMS Hospital Bengaluru entered into a lease deed of 25 years and availed on lease, land and hospital building, for the hospital. The hospital is KIMS' second foray in the city, after the first 415-bed hospital being built in Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, which will be operational in second half of FY25.
Under the agreement, PES will exclusively manage the proposed under-construction hospital unit at Electronics City, Bengaluru. The Super Specialty Hospital will be under the exclusive supervision and control of KIMS, responsible for proper and efficient management.
