Kumar Urban development (KUL) has signed an agreement with super specialty Nova Hospital for Build-to-Suit (BTS) project in Pune, Maharashtra.
BTS project, built at a cost of Rs 40 crore will be given to Nova on rent. The 40,215 sq ft property with ground plus four flrs has two basement levels. The building will be handed over to Nova shortly and the hospital is expected to be fully operational over the next six months. It will cater to the needs of short-stay surgeries. With this project, Nova brings super specialties like high end cosmetic and replacement surgeries, and Breast Clinic and Pain Management Centers in the city of Pune.
Meanwhile, KUL is planning to build five more BTS hospitals. The company further plans to diversify into other BTS areas like schools, sports clubs.
Also, Nova is planning to set up a Nova Specialty Surgery (NSS) center as well as a Nova IVI Fertility (NIF) center at Kidopia, Pune. The Pune NSS center will have 35 beds, five modular OTs, ICU, Pre-operative and Post-operative rooms, single, twin and deluxe suites, and include the latest in technology for high end surgeries. The Pune NIF center will cater to the whole range of assisted reproductive services and will be equipped, in-patient and out-patient rooms, modular OT and the finest in IVF technology and equipment.
