Karnataka Neeravari Nigam has issued a tender for flood control and flood management works on the Tupparihalla Phase-II, covering a stretch up to the confluence of Bennihalla from km 00.0 to 90.
The scope of work includes excavation and removal of silt and silt mixed with sand, along with earthwork excavation for foundations up to a depth of three mtrs. It also involves the construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders using approved materials and the laying of cement concrete for the levelling course. The estimated cost is of the contract is Rs 135.36 crore, and the work aims to improve flood management and mitigate the impact of floods in the region.
The closing date for bid submission is 19 February, 2026.
