Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan laid the foundation stone for the Rs 600-crore Adani Logistics Park in Kalamassery on 23 August, 2025.

Developed by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, the 70- acre facility—30 acres of which has been acquired by Flipkart, will be located between HMT and the Government Medical College. The project aims to transform Kerala into a hub for industrial and logistics operations, integrating sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG/FMCD, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and retail. It will also promote sustainability through EV charging stations, smart logistics, and digital integration. 

The project is expected to create more than 13 lakh job opportunities. The CM noted that investments worth Rs 23,000 crore have already generated 7.5 lakk employment under the investor’s year initiative. Industries Minister P Rajeeve stated, “Through the Invest Kerala Conclave, investments of Rs 35,284.75 crore have created over 5,000 job opportunities.”
