Pune-based Kinetic Green Energy and Italian luxury brand Tonino Lamborghini have announced a joint venture to manufacture electric golf and lifestyle carts for both Indian and global requirements.

The products, launched at a recent event, will be built at Kinetic Green’s Pune facility. Company executives confirmed that the carts are available in two series: the Genesis Range, which pays homage to the Lamborghini legacy, and the Prestige Range, which features ultra-premium, futuristic designs.

The joint venture, named Kinetic Green Tonino Lamborghini (KGTL), plans to invest USD 20 million (approx. Rs 167 crore) over the next few years. Under the JV, Kinetic Green will hold a 70 percent stake, while the Italian firm will retain 30 percent.

Dr Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, stated, "This collaboration allows Kinetic Green to foray into the bespoke four-wheeler mobility segment, combining Indian manufacturing with Italian design." She added that the partnership is a strategic step towards the company’s goal of building a USD one billion electric vehicle business by 2030.
