Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the construction of a 220/132/33 kV GIS substation at Nandanpur, Bankura district, and associated transmission works in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The contract has been issued by West Bengal State Electricity Transmission.
The scope of work under this package involves the construction of the substation, bay extension, and related transmission infrastructure. Key components include the preparation of detailed substation layouts, engineering, and the supply and delivery of all substation structures, including GIS and associated outdoor equipment. Construction of civil foundations, GIS buildings, control buildings, utility buildings, and staff quarters is as specified in the bid document.
The work also includes check survey and detailed survey, including profiling and tower spotting as necessary, fbrication, galvanizing, and supply of double circuit (D/C) and multi circuit (M/C) towers, along with conductors such as ACSR Moose and ACSR Panther, and earth wires.
