The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is set to propose a seven km road on 05 December, 2025, which will connect the Green Corridor project near IIM Road to the Outer Ring Road, or Kisan Path.
The new route is intended to provide commuters with a faster, seamless passage and improve access to upcoming township areas, particularly in Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT). Officials say the road will reduce travel time, ease congestion on internal routes, and support the development of Naimish Nagar township. The second phase of the project will extend the corridor by another three km, linking it directly to the Naimish Nagar scheme.
This extension aims to improve movement from northern areas to growing suburban regions without burdening inner-city roads. Residents of areas like Vasant Kunj will benefit from quicker access to Kisan Path, bypassing congested internal routes. The project is part of the larger Green Corridor initiative, aimed at creating a signal-free North–South route.
