The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has started the acquisition of 611 hectares of land to establish industrial estates at three locations around 30 km from Nashik city. The targeted areas include 204 hectares at Maparwadi near Sinnar, 271 hectares near Ghoti, and 136 hectares at Rajur Bahula near Nashik city.
Deputy CEO of MIDC, Sonali Mule highlighted the Corporation's objective to expedite the acquisition process and complete layouts quickly, enabling industries to secure land for their operations. The move aims to support industries eager to establish a base in the region, contributing to industrial growth. The establishment of major industries in these locations could create significant business opportunities for the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
This development aligns with the aim to strengthen its industrial base and attract larger investments, fostering growth and employment opportunities. With the MIDC’s proactive approach, the new industrial estates are expected to enhance the city's profile as a key player in Maharashtra's industrial landscape.
