Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) plans to establish a new industrial estate in Advan, Igatpuri taluka, Nashik district. The project spans 675 acres, with discussions for land acquisition underway with local farmers. Advan’s strategic location, 25 km from the Samruddhi highway and near the proposed Igatpuri-Wadhvan port road, is expected to enhance industrial growth.
"We identified 675 acres for the new industrial areas at Advan in Igatpuri taluka of the district. The joint measurement of the land has started, and we are also convincing farmers for the acquisition of the land,", Deputy CEO of MIDC, Sonali Mule said.
Nashik’s emergence as a manufacturing hub is further highlighted due to its strategic location, climate, and water resources. MIDC has previously developed estates in Talegaon-Akrale and Ajang, Malegaon taluka. Additionally, two large industries have been allotted land at Talegaon-Akrale, with a combined investment exceeding Rs 2,500 crore.
