Mahindra Logistics has strengthened its Eastern India logistics network with the launch of two state-of-the-art Grade A warehouses in Guwahati and Agartala, adding over four lakh sq. ft. of capacity.
The Guwahati facility is now North-East India’s largest multi-client warehouse, while the Agartala unit is strategically positioned to meet rising demand for integrated logistics solutions. Aligned with its ‘Go-East’ strategy, Mahindra Logistics has developed over one million sq. ft. of multi-client warehousing across the region and plans to expand express logistics services to more than 800 pincodes.
The expansion aims to enhance regional connectivity, support sectors including e-commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, retail, and grocery, and provide end-to-end services across warehousing, distribution, fulfilment, sortation, and delivery. The project is expected to accelerate economic growth, generate over 2,000 employment opportunities, and ensure a workforce with 50 percent local diversity. Strategic regional infrastructure like the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, Bharatmala highways, Maitri Setu, and Agartala–Akhaura rail project further enhances the corridor’s potential.
