Mahindra Susten, the renewable energy arm of Mahindra Group, has announced the commissioning of 560 MWp of utility-scale solar capacity in Gujarat and Rajasthan in 2025.
The projects, each with 280 MWp capacity, are the first assets developed by Mahindra Susten after selling 1.54 gigawatt-peak of solar assets in 2024. Power from the projects will be supplied under 25-year power purchase agreements to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam and Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam. Spread across nearly 2,000 acres, the projects use N-type TOPCon bifacial solar modules, high-efficiency inverters, and dry-cleaning systems for maximum energy output. The 560 MWp portfolio is expected to generate nearly one billion units of electricity annually.
Avinash Rao, CEO of Mahindra Susten, highlighted that the commissioning marks a major milestone, showcasing the company’s ability to deliver large-scale renewable projects. The company continues to expand its renewable energy pipeline across multiple states in India.
