Waa Solar has received multiple letters of award (LoAs) from MP Urja Vikas Nigam (MPUVNL) for the implementation of grid-connected solar PV-based power plants (SPP) under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme.
The scope of work also involves the feeder solarisation component of the PM KUSUM-C Scheme, aimed at sale of power to MPPMCL. The contract, valued at approx, Rs 225 crore, is set to be executed within 18 months from the signing of the power purchase agreement (PPA). This project will contribute to Madhya Pradesh's renewable energy goals, enhancing the state's solar infrastructure while supporting agricultural feeders under the PM KUSUM-C Scheme.
The contract reinforces Wa Solar's position in the solar energy sector, focusing on grid-connected systems for sustainable power generation.
