Mitsu Chem Plast, a leading polymer solutions provider in India, has announced a capacity expansion plan of 655 MT per year across its existing manufacturing facilities.
The plan aims to enhance Mitsu's production capacity from 28,424 MT/year to 29,079 MT/year. This expansion aims to meet growing demand across key sectors like industrial packaging, hospital furniture, infrastructure components, and emergency solutions. The expansion will allow Mitsu to better serve its customers, particularly original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), by reducing turnaround times and optimising product quality with new machinery.
The investment is fully financed through internal accruals and aligns with Mitsu’s vision of achieving Rs 1,000 crore in annual revenue by 2028. The company, which specialises in the production of blow-moulded and injection-moulded products. remains committed to sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and diversifying its market presence. Chairman Jagdish Dedhia emphasised that this expansion strengthens Mitsu's supply-chain resilience and prepares it for future growth.
