NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has commenced the commercial power supply of 6.6 MW from its 100 MW hybrid project in Bhuj, Gujarat.
This is part of a wind energy initiative under the 100 MW hybrid project developed in collaboration with Ayana Renewable Power Four, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power, and ONGC NTPC Green, a joint venture between ONGC and NTPC. With the addition of this 6.6 MW capacity, NGEL's total installed capacity now stands at 7,645.675 MW, up from 7,639.075 MW. The project is part of NTPC Group's broader strategy to enhance its renewable energy footprint.
As a result, NTPC Group’s total installed and commercial capacity has now reached 84,931 MW. This marks a significant step towards fulfilling NTPC’s commitment to sustainable energy development.
