NTPC has completed the commissioning of its 23 MW Solapur solar PV project in Maharashtra, with the final 13 MW phase now operational.
The project, located at NTPC Solapur, is part of the company's ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio. With the successful launch of this last phase, NTPC's total installed capacity has increased to 60,796 MW on a standalone basis and 85,623 MW group-wide. The project is part of NTPC's strategy to strengthen its position in the green energy sector. In its regulatory filing,
NTPC noted that the entire 23 MW capacity of the Solapur solar project is now fully operational. "With this commissioning, the entire 23 MW capacity of the Solapur Solar PV Project is now operational," the company stated.
