NTPC has successfully commissioned the second and final part of its 245 MW Nokh Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, with 78 MW now declared operational.
The capacity located, at Plot-1 of the project (3x245MW) became commercially operational from 00:00 Hrs. on 18 December 2025. This milestone boosts NTPC’s total installed capacity to 60,783 MW on a standalone basis, and 85,259 MW on a group basis.
The Nokh Solar PV Project, situated in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, will utilize DCR category Bi-Facial Mono-PERC modules to harness solar power. NTPC's expansion in renewable energy marks a significant step in the country's shift towards cleaner energy solutions.
