SJVN has achieved advanced commissioning at its one GW Bikaner solar project in Rajasthan, as its wholly owned subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy (SGEL), began commercial operations of an additional 100.56 MW.
With this addition, the cumulative commissioned capacity of the project now stands at 830.70 MW, with the remaining capacity expected to be operational shortly. The project has secured power purchase agreements (PPAs) for its full capacity, ensuring supply of clean electricity to Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand. Key offtakers include Uttarakhand Power Corporation for 200 MW, Jammu and Kashmir Power Corporation for 300 MW, and Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services for 500 MW.
This milestone underscores SJVN’s commitment to expanding renewable energy infrastructure and contributing to India’s clean energy goals.
