BHEL has bagged a Rs 42 crore order from Karnataka Power Corporation for
setting up an eco-friendly grid-interactive Solar Photovoltaic power plant of 3
MW capacity, on turnkey basis, at Yapalaniddi village in Raichur district of
Karnataka.
BHEL's scope of work comprises engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and
commissioning of the equipment, besides operation and maintenance of the plant
for three years thereafter. The plant is slated to be completed in a schedule of
eight months.
