Humboldt Wedag Minerals India (HWMI), a subsidiary of McNally Bharat
Engineering has bagged two orders worth Rs 56 crore for various works in the
last quarter of 2009.
The first order is worth Rs 34.9 crore from Orissa Mining Corporation. The
scope of work involves installation of a new chrome ore beneficiation plant at
South Chaliapin in Orissa on turnkey basis with AWK Aussenwerbung GmbH, Germany
as their technical associates. Sub-graded ore, currently discarded, is likely to
be used through beneficiation. The order is to be completed in 16 months.
HWMI has bagged the second order worth Rs 11.1 crore in association with
Gaudery, France from Anorak Aluminium for engineering, manufacture and supply of
disaster vertical pressure filters and disc filters for the its 1.5 million tpa
alumina refinery project in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
