The Kerala Government has completed the land acquisition process of 245.89
acre for the development of Technocity, a part of the Technopark, being set up
near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.
With this, Technopark's total area is to spread across 451 acre, which
includes space for IT-ITES firms, residential, commercial, hospitality, medical
and educational facilities to make it a complete IT city.
Technopark is setting up a building with a built-up space of about one
million sq ft. The contract has been awarded to L&T, to be completed in about 20
months and will be operational by mid-2011.
