BHEL has invited tenders from civil contractors for Uttar Pradesh Rajya
Vidyut Nigam's (UPRVUNL) 1,000 MW Anpara-D thermal power project, located at
Anpara in Sonebhadra district.
The scope of work involves execution of all civil, structural and
architectural work related to buildings and foundations, earth work,
construction of the turbine generator deck, cement concrete reinforcement,
including plastering, painting and finishing work, as well as internal and
external plumbing, water supply, water proofing, drainage and work etc.
The last date for submission of bids is 12 March 2010.
The project is slated to commence power generation in fiscal 2011-2012.
