Nike has signed a multi-year agreement with Ester Loop Infinite Technologies to source sustainable circular polyester for its products, marking a significant step in the brand's sustainability efforts.
Under the deal, Loop will supply its Twist resin, a virgin-quality polyester made entirely from textile waste. Nike will be the anchor customer for the new Infinite Loop India manufacturing facility, being developed in collaboration with Ester Industries. This partnership aims to reduce Nike’s reliance on virgin and recycled polyester while supporting the development of high-performance materials.
The agreement underscores Nike’s commitment to transforming textile waste into valuable materials and advancing its environmental goals. The initiative aligns with the broader push for sustainable solutions in the fashion and apparel industry.
