On 06 October, 20025, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Nuapada district, where he launched development projects worth over Rs 1,101 cr to boost infrastructure, irrigation, and urban governance.
CM Majhi inaugurated 109 projects worth Rs 64.02 crore, laid foundation stones for 39 more valued at Rs 159.76 crore, and revealed upcoming plans worth Rs 75.37 crore. A significant allocation of Rs 802.09 crore was dedicated to irrigation to support farmers. Emphasising equitable growth, CM Majhi reiterated his open-door policy for Nuapada residents and pledged ongoing support for western Odisha.
Urban upgrades included elevating Khariar Road to a municipality, granting NAC status to Komna, and forming the new Sinapali NAC. He also announced sub-registration offices for all 317 tehsils across Odisha, with seven new ones opened today in Nuapada and Malkangiri.
