The Odisha government has approved 17 investment proposals worth Rs 3,878.86 crore across various sectors, expected to generate 10,584 employment opportunities in 11 districts. The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, cleared projects in plastics, textiles, apparel, ESDM, food processing, renewable energy, tourism, logistics, infrastructure, chemicals, and steel.
Notable investments include Greenwave Circularity’s Rs 650 crore recycled plastics unit in Khurda, MAS India’s Rs 885 crore textile mill, and Iron Triangle’s Rs 310 crore battery storage project. The logistics sector saw major proposals from Alpha Coal (Rs 217 crore) and Bhubaneswar Logipark (Rs 218 crore). Other significant ventures include Samaleshwari Ferrometals’ Rs 400 crore steel plant, Lucro Plastecycle’s Rs 100 crore recycling unit, and Ganesh Consumer Products’ Rs 52 crore flour mill. In tourism, Raysons Enterprises will build the Rs 53 crore Mayfair Hideout eco-resort in Puri.
Special Blasts, also plans a Rs 55 crore explosives unit in Talcher. Royal Touch Fablon will invest Rs 60.78 crore in Balasore to produce PP woven sacks, bags, and liners (9,600 TPA), generating 600 employment opportunities. MAS India Clothing will set up a Rs 885 crore textile mill in Khurda, creating 1,700 work roles. Isolloyd Engineering Technologies will invest Rs 51 crore in ceramic fibre production in Jajpur, generating 175 work opportunities. Ranisati Green Biofuels (Rs 110 crore) will add 370 employment, while Iron Triangle's Rs 310.75 crore battery project will employ 128 people.
