PSAV Global, the brand partner of Chinese smartphone maker Honor, is preparing to start production of Honor devices in India from November 2025.
Co-founder and CEO CP Khandelwal said the company aims to capture “approximately 1 per cent market share, which translates to around ?2,500 crore in revenue” within the first year of operations. Manufacturing will begin with a complete knocked down (CKD) model and scale up in line with global launches.
According to Counterpoint Research, Honor is among the fast-growing brands globally, competing strongly outside China. In India, Honor has already rolled out the Honor X9c and X7c, and is set to launch the Honor V3 and Magic 7 Pro.
PSAV received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) approval for four models after delays in 2024 caused by government clearances and management changes at Honor headquarters. He added, “Once our local manufacturing starts, we will launch all global models in India in line with international timelines.”
