Pernod Ricard India is setting up a grain based distillery unit at Kadwa Mhalungi, Valkhe, Dindori taluka in Nashik district of Maharashtra. Being built on 32.79 acre of land, the facility will have a production capacity of 60 klpd.
The project obtained terms of reference (ToR) in 2016 and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEE&CC) accorded environment clearance (EC) in 2017.
The project gathered pace from June 2018 when the actual work on grain based distillery unit was commenced. At present, around 90 percent work on the project has been completed, as confirmed with a representative of Projects Today.
Since the construction work is progressing satisfactorily, the promoter is optimistic to complete project by March 2019. SMS Envocare is the consultant associated with the project worth Rs 100 crore.
