The Phase I of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence at
Kakrial in Jammu district of Jammu & Kashmir has been completed. It comprises of
200 beds, as told to ProjectsToday.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is developing the institute on 45 acre in
three phases at a cost of Rs 250 crore.
Phase II consists of construction of 500 beds, multi-specialty faculties and
a school of nursing and paramedics while Phase III includes upgradation of the
medical college and a college for research and academic excellence
Work on phase II and III was awaiting higher management approvals.
