Pramod Confectionery & Food Industries, manufacturer of namkeen and snacks has made an announcement of its expansion plans.

The company expects to scale new heights with this new expansion for bakery products in Bihta, Patna district of Bihar. The company plans to set up bakery products, biscuits, namkeen and sweets manufacturing at the unit. The project is currently at the planning stage, and is estimated to cost Rs 150 crore. The capacity of the plant is 60 tonne on a daily basis.

The manufacturing of products will start on 01 April, 2026, and is estimated to generate a turnover of Rs 250 crore. The machinery will be brought and installed from Gujarat and New Delhi.

The project is an initiative of public-private partnership. The products which will be manufactured at the plant include biscuits at 18,000 tpa, namkeen at 400 tpa, and sweets at 105 tpa.
