Pushpak Power plans to set up three solar photovoltaic power projects in Nagpur district of Maharashtra.
A spokesperson for the company informed ProjectsToday (PT) that it intended to set up three solar photovoltaic power projects: one MWp solar power at Botona; one MWp (Phase-I); and four MWp (Phase-II) at Alagondhi.
For the purpose, the company has acquired 4.5 acre for the Botona project; 5.1 acre for the Alagondhi (Phase-I); and is in the process of acquiring 20 acre for Alagondhi (Phase-II).
Further, the company has appointed Palsule Associates as the EPC contractor for the project.
The project entails an investment of Rs eight crore per MW. At present, Pushpak Power is seeking financial assistance for the project.
