RMC Switchgears has successfully commissioned 8.8 MWac of a 46 MWac Solar EPC Project awarded by the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) in Shevgaon, Ahmednagar district.
The commissioned segment is valued at Rs 38.49 crore out of the total Rs 153.98 crore project. This milestone is a significant achievement in the project’s execution and highlights RMC's commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure on schedule. As per the company, the full 46 MWac capacity will be completed within the current financial year. Located in a rural area, the project aims to improve power supply stability for farmers, small businesses, and local households.
Once fully operational, the plant will contribute to Maharashtra’s renewable energy goals, reduce reliance on diesel pumps, and enhance the quality of life in surrounding villages.
