On 18 September, 2023, Radico Khaitan successfully commissioned its 350 klpd greenfield grain distillery along with a captive power plant of 15 MW in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.

The greenfield project spans over 107 acres of land and would augment the company’s branded business growth for the next seven to 10 years. Apart from securing long term ENA supplies with the commissioning of the Sitapur plant, this will also position the company to capitalise on the future growth opportunities in the branded business with enhanced bottling capacities.

Radico Khaitan, an IMFL company, has also set up a malt maturation capacity of 10,000 barrels at the Sitapur campus, which is expected to strengthen the pipeline of its Rampur Indian Single Malt (RISM).

The entire campus will be self-sufficient for its power requirement mostly using biomass/non-carbon fuels. In addition to an annual ENA/absolute alcohol production capacity of over 10 crore liters, the campus also has a bottling capacity of over 15 million cases.
