Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has floated two separate tenders for undertaking railway track linking works in the state of Odisha.
The works envisages track linking (excluding supply of rails, sleepers, thick web switches), S&T and OHE works. The works will be take up between 0 km to 47 km in connection with construction of Angul-Sukinda New BG Rail Link of 71.196 km track (between Talcher Road to Tangaria including two tie lines at Budhapank) on Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway. The work will entail a total investment of Rs 164.43 crore.
The works will also be executed between 47 km to 97 km in connection with construction of Angul-Sukinda New BG Rail Link of 58.961 km track (between Rangamatia to Baghuapal including tie lines at Tomka) on Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway. The work will be executed at an investment of Rs 138.39 crore.
The above track linking works will be executed in a period of 30 months.
