Rashmi Group, a prominent Indian industrial conglomerate known for manufacturing ductile iron pipes, has announced plans to set up a steel production unit in Telangana with an investment of Rs 12,500 crore.
This new facility is expected to create up to 12,000 direct and indirectemployment, marking a significant boost to the state’s industrial growth. The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Telangana Rising delegation, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, during the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos. Sajjan Kumar Patwari, the Group’s promoter, and Director Sanjib Kumar Patwari expressed their commitment to establishing the steel plant in the state. Chief Minister lauded the investment, which aligns with Telangana’s growth strategy and focus on manufacturing. The state government has committed to providing the necessary support, including coal supply linkages.
AB InBev announced a major investment to expand its Telangana facility, creating additional revenue and growth opportunities. The company currently employs 600 people across two plants in the state and operates in over 50 countries.
