Real estate companies like Chennai based R R Industries, Ahmedabad based
Omega Realty, Delhi’s Ansal API and Kolhapur based Sanjay Ghodawat group, plan
to set up pan India business schools with the combined investment exceeding Rs
500 crore.
Ansal plans to invest Rs 200 crore in next three to five years for setting up
private schools, engineering institute across various centres in India.
Similarly, Omega Realty plans to set up business schools in Mumbai, Delhi and
Ahmedabad named - United World School of Business - with a proposed investment
of Rs 105 crore. The schools are expected to commence operations in academic
session 2009-10.
The Sanjay Godhwat Institute to spread over 150 acre will be developed in
three phases with an investment of over Rs 250 crore.
Meanwhile, R. R Industries has tied up with National Management School to
start 25 business schools across India with an estimated cost of Rs 9 crore.
